The deal
- A space to exhibit, free of charge — no stand fee, unlike commercial exhibitors.
- Show and sell your own work on site for the full event, Sat 14 + Sun 15 November.
- A 10% commission on sales made at the Summit covers the cost of running the space, settled after the event against reported sales. You handle your own payments and any tax/VAT.
- Entry passes for you and one assistant for both event days.
- Listing as an exhibiting artist on the website and in the app, and inclusion in our social media announcements.
- Access to ~2,000 attendees from the wellness, longevity and biohacking industry.
Who does what
You bring
- Everything needed to install and dismantle your work yourself.
- Transport, handling and any insurance you want — the risk is yours at all times.
- Your own sales, payment method and tax/VAT.
- Someone present during opening hours — unattended works are your own risk.
We do not provide
- No fee, honorarium or purchase of works.
- No travel, accommodation or meals.
- No transport, crating or storage before or after the event.
- No crew, technicians, lift operator, tools or ladders.
- No gallery lighting beyond the general room lighting.
- No insurance.
Install it yourself
Installing and dismantling your own work is the one rule that has always worked for us and it is non-negotiable: if we install it, it becomes a production job and a cost.
Arrive within the build window (Thursday 12 or Friday 13 November) and be installed before doors open on Saturday. Remove everything on Sunday after 18:00, within the teardown window — anything left behind is disposed of at your cost.
Leave the space as you found it: no drilling, painting, gluing, taping or any permanent marking of walls, floors, pillars or the building fabric.
Selection & curation
We select the artists — applying is not acceptance. Work should fit the spirit and theme of the Summit: consciousness, nature, technology, human potential. Decorative value for the space is part of the criteria.
Priority goes to work that is self-installing, floor-based or wall-leaning, and visually strong from a distance. Placement is decided by production; space is limited and allocated per work. We reserve the right to refuse or remove any work that breaches the venue rules, safety conditions, or is not as described in the application.
Venue rules — non-negotiable
SugarFactory house rules and Dutch fire regulations. They override anything else written here.
Floor-standing and free-standing works are strongly preferred — the easiest and cheapest to bring in and the fastest to approve.
Anything suspended must hang on steel or metal wire — no rope, textile, cable ties or improvised fixings.
Not yourself. All structural points go through the venue's AV partner, are chargeable, and need plans at least 10 working days in advance. Declare any rigging point in the application or it will not be approved.
No. Nothing may be positioned so that it can fall on a visitor.
Yes — fabrics, drapes, paper, wood and foam must be fireproof or fire-retardant treated. Fireproofing spray is acceptable; a certificate or proof of treatment may be requested.
None of them. No open flame, candles, incense, pyro, smoke or haze machines.
No.
No — no charging of e-bikes, scooters, large battery packs or aerial equipment.
Fountains, pools or anything needing water supply or disposal must be declared and approved in advance. Floors and walls cannot be washed down.
Only if declared in the application and agreed with production in advance, so it doesn't clash with the stages nearby.
Standard 230V sockets only. Declare total power draw in the application; no damaged cables, cables taped or ramped, no daisy-chained extension blocks.
No — they may only be operated by venue staff.
The venue's house rules apply at all times and override anything written here.
Key dates
Driven by the venue's own lead times.
- 15 September 2026 — applications close.
- ~22 September — selection announced.
- 25 September — final specs from selected artists: dimensions, weight, mounting method, power, floor area.
- ~1 October — fire-safety and furnishing floor plan filed with the venue (it requires at least 6 weeks).
- ~29 October — any approved rigging plan to the venue's AV partner (at least 10 working days).
- Thu 12 – Fri 13 November — install. Sat 14 + Sun 15 — event. Sunday from 18:00 — teardown.
Apply to exhibit
Tell us about the work, upload at least three photos of the actual pieces, and give the dimensions, mounting and power details we need for the floor plan. The full terms are shown on the application page.
